Next week, Brooklyn's Beach Fossils are set to release more of their jangly dream-pop upon the world with yet another ep, this one entitled What a Pleasure via Captured Tracks. This new endeavor features a collaboration with another one of our favorites, Jack Tatum, mastermind of Wild Nothing. He joins them on "Out in the Way", this may be one of the best collaborations you'll hear this year, to say the very least. The track sees Tatum and Payseur trading off vocal duties seamlessly over top of what can best be described as Beach Fossils covering Wild Nothing or maybe it's Wild Nothing covering Beach Fossils, either way it's fantastic and you need to hear it.
We can only hope they reconvene for more of this...maybe we'll see a 'Wild Fossils' album !?!
